as we continue to process all that has taken place over the past few days, we know that we have to continue moving forward with the next steps. it isn't a lot of fun, and quite frankly, everything we're doing now is just another reminder of what we no longer get to do. it's not easy.
that being said, today was a good day. again, not easy... but it was good. we began sorting through all of the equipment and supplies that we will be distributing to other churches and ministries. some of it we will sell. other things, we'll be giving away.
today, we gave some stuff away.
our team spent the afternoon loading up two road trunks worth of children's items... anything from games to music to craft supplies... and delivered them to the frazee center.
the frazee center is a free after school program for under resourced children in downtown greenville. they have been a part of our community involvement strategy, and we've thoroughly enjoyed playing a small role in the huge impact they are having in these children's lives.
as we continue to move forward, i'm so grateful that we have the opportunity to bless ministries like the frazee center with the items we've been blessed with at catalyst. i can think of no group more deserving than those children.
I'll be praying for you and your family, as well as everyone else @ Catalyst. I know how tough it is to be part of a church plant. Best of luck...
