in case my previous post wasn't obvious enough... we're moving to virginia!
so excited to share that i will be going on staff with waters edge church in yorktown, va. beginning in january!
this was a huge decision for us. if you know me, or you've been following this blog very long, you know that my family has been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride for the past eight months since we closed catalyst church. but as we look back, there is absolutely no doubt that it was in preparation for this next step. we are so excited about our future at waters edge... and we can't wait to get there!
waters edge is a great church, and, while most everything in virginia will be brand new to us, we'll actually be stepping into something very familiar at waters edge... a portable church (in two locations) following the north point model (foyer, living room, kitchen). we should feel right at home.
i'll have lots of details about my new job and waters edge church in the weeks to come. as for when we will actually move, details are still a little sketchy at this point. we're making another trip up there next week to look around the area again and get more familiar with it. we'll begin making some decisions after that.
the biggest hurdle to jump going forward will be selling our house in greenville. no small task. it went on the market last week and we've already had some showings, which is good. prayers for a quick sale are much appreciated.
here we go!
As one who has been on that same ride for the past year, I SO understand! May God richly bless you as you continue to follow the path unseen... while some on the outside may never understand, stay true to what you know he s calling you to do.
