the one you've been praying for over the last week.
we went back to the doctor for an ultrasound yesterday.
thump-thump, thump-thump, thump-thump...
they found a heartbeat!
it's still early, but all indications are that we have a very healthy pregnancy.
kristi is feeling great and no longer showing signs of complications.
your prayers and encouragement have been overwhelming.
we will never be able to thank you enough.
you have no idea what it means to us.
what it means to our baby.
each one of you has already played a role in my child's story.
one day... he/she will thank you.
we serve an amazing God. praise to the father who breathes life!
for you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. i praise you, for i am fearfully and wonderfully made. wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. my frame was not hidden from you, when i was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. how precious to me are your thoughts, o God! how vast is the sum of them! if i would count them, they are more than the sand. i awake, and i am still with you.
psalm 139: 13-18 (esv)
Awesome!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

Jake, I too had bleeding at about 7 weeks and Brooklyn, my beautiful daughter, was born 11 years ago. I'm so happy for you guys. It is hard to go through that but boy, does it stretch your faith.
Thanks so much for sharing your journey.

Jake, I will give you $100 if you name your baby robshep.com. You can keep the midle and last name. Think about it. I may come up with $200 if that helps in your decision.
All joking aside...Monica and I are excited for you guys.
